Garnacho has a SKILL that not many players have!’ | Erik ten Hag praises Argentina rising star. Where did Manchester United get Garnacho from? Exciting winger Garnacho was signed by Man U from Atletico Madrid in 2020. A lively front-runner, who had an enviable goals record in his homeland, he has appeared mostly on the left-hand side of attack since breaking into the Under-18s team.
Ten Hag is proving he is an excellent manager. Tactically, man management, coaching, discipline… he is what the team has been craving for for a very very long time.
I love how he mentions how we can tactically use some of our players’ ability to multifunction in different positions as a weapon. We are blessed to have this guy at the helm, everything the man touches turns to gold and I’m enjoying every bit of it.
Goal.com reports teenager Garnacho is currently on a deal at Old Trafford through to 2024, which includes a 12-month extension option, but he is said to be earning just £7,000 per week and has only been presented with a raise up to £20,000 – despite seeing regular game time for the Red Devils’ first team of late and becoming a Premier League goalscorer.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: The Independent reports that “positive” talks have taken place between United and Garnacho’s representatives, but no agreement has been reached and fresh terms for the youngster remain unsigned.
When Garnacho was promoted, SportsFila was concerned about these kids from the academy that we overhype (because of desperation), but he’s been doing some real things, showing effectiveness and impacting games. Seriously, what a talent.
Real Madrid have no offer on the table for Garnacho, but they are looking to build for the future around players of considerable promise. That is something United need to be wary of as they seek to keep another product of their famed academy system in Manchester on a long-term basis.
Where did man utd Get Garnacho from?
Chris Silvester: Ten Hag is one hell of a top class manager. His man management, his high standards, his discipline, his coaching, his tactics, he’s just phenomenal. What he’s done is the transformation within the club & to his players in half a season not many managers have that kinda impact. These players lacked a manager who coached them properly but they’ve got one now & we’re reaping the rewards. Best thing is that this is just the beginning.
It is clear to see that Erik Ten Hag has a clear vision and plan for the team and has the potential to be a great manager for Manchester United and to bring success back to Old Trafford.
How much did Man United pay for Garnacho? And Where did man utd Get Alejandro Garnacho from?
He was signed for only £420,000. In October 2020, Alejandro Garnacho joined the Manchester United Academy from Spanish club Atleti. United paid Atlético Madrid a £420,000 fee. He signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2021.
I really wish Ten Hag had gotten a chance to manage Greenwood.
As much as I love Garnacho and what he did in the youth system to get here, United fans know what a monster Greenwood was in terms of raw talent compared to Garnacho.
It’s a shame what happened to Greenwood.
Ralf Rangnick saw Garnacho’s talent
Back in April, Ralf Rangnick expressed a belief that Alejandro Garnacho could become a key player for Manchester United. And though the German didn’t get much right during his time in the Old Trafford dugout, his comments were accurate. Something that’s evident in the wake of their dramatic 2-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
The only thing that’s preventing Ten Hag from becoming a legendary manager is time. He will go down in history as one of the best coaches ever. He ticks every single box and is a proper throwback to 90’s football and the style of management.
What separates him is that he doesn’t act up for the camera’s, is extremely versatile in his tactics, combines man management with running training sessions. He is highly obsessed with football and only wants to win which makes him the total package. I’d sign him up for 10 years, because he’ll give 110% every single day to improve.
Rangnick opened up on Garnacho by saying: “[Garnacho] has been training with us [the first team] for the last two weeks and I know that he is one of the most promising players.
“[He is] still only 17, but a player that hopefully if he keeps his feet on the ground.
“If he keeps trying to get better every day, then he will not only be sitting on the bench but there is every chance he will be playing for this club.”
Garnacho is now fulfilling Rangnick’s prophecy, with his cameo against City electrifying.
And the onus will be on Ten Hag to find a way to accommodate the Argentine, despite his young age.
