The authorities of North Ossetia will expand the range of social services to support participants in a special military operation. It is reported by TASS.
“A number of measures to support fighters and their families are already in place in the republic, from preferential admission of children to educational institutions to all necessary medical care. Targeted work, about which the President spoke separately, is already underway. And the range of social services will expand – this includes the rehabilitation of returned fighters, and assistance in professional training and employment, and much more, ”said Sergey Menyailo, head of North Ossetia.
Earlier, the authorities of North Ossetia allocated 30 million rubles to help the participants of the NWO. The funds are intended to provide one-time material assistance to the families of fallen servicemen and volunteers, as well as to servicemen who were wounded during the SVO. Also, the deputies of the Parliament of North Ossetia adopted a bill guaranteeing the free provision of social services to the families of mobilized citizens, military personnel and fighters of volunteer units, as well as to the families of the dead members of the SVO. In addition, the head of North Ossetia signed a decree on additional measures of social support for persons called up for military service for mobilization and their families.
Two Ossetian volunteer battalions, formed in the spring, “Alania” and “Ossetia”, participate in the SVO, up to 70% of which are natives of Ossetia. A battalion was also created, which is completely formed from those mobilized from the republic
