The President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden, conveyed a message to Peru recognizing the South American country as a force for economic prosperity and leadership in the Andes.
Peru is presented as a force for economic prosperity and leadership in the Andes, he said through a formal communication handed over to Peruvian Ambassador to the U.S., Gustavo Meza-Cuadra, last Friday.
President Joe Biden praised Peru for ensuring a democratic transfer of power to President Dina Boluarte’s administration.
Likewise, he expressed his desire to work with the Peruvian Government so as to strengthen the democratic quality of the South American country.
In turn, Ambassador Meza-Cuadra expressed the gratitude of the Peruvian Government for U.S. support.
Similarly, the career diplomat renewed Peru’s willingness to work jointly for social, economic, and commercial development between both countries.
As is known, Ambassador Meza-Cuadra visited the White House in Washington D.C. yesterday to present his credentials to President Biden.
On this occasion, the U.S. Head of State and the Peruvian envoy also reaffirmed both countries’ willingness to strengthen their bilateral relationship.
