“Economic conditions throughout Latin America have been mixed. While some markets have grown, others have stagnated. BBVA has successfully navigated the opportunities and challenges that have emerged from this environment to produce another year of commendable growth across several markets, specially Peru,” proclaimed The Banker.

The Banker also highlights the impact of new products and services launched by BBVA Private Banking in the region, such as a new advisory model and the reinforcement of the investment and client advisory teams.

The judges were also swayed by BBVA’s impressive range of non-financial products and services for customers. The Banker commended the Group on its firm commitment to women entrepreneurs by staging workshops throughout all of Latin America to address specific topics of interest and challenges faced by this customer segment, while also delivering specialized coaching sessions. The magazine was also hugely impressed with the Global Wealth Life Program, which offers a range of non-financial benefits for high net worth individuals, including art, culture, sports, entertainment, health and education.

In 2023, BBVA’s private banking arm was also recognized for the second straight year as World’s Best Private Bank for Sustainable Investing by Global Finance.
