Brazil recorded inflation of 0.71 percent in March, lower than the 0.84 percent in February and less than half of the 1.62 percent in March 2022, Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics reported Tuesday. The Central Bank of Brazil announced on Friday that the Chinese currency renminbi (RMB), or the yuan, has surpassed the euro to become the country’s second-largest international reserve currency. Chile’s Senate passed a bill cutting down the number of working hours from 45 to a maximum of 40 per week.
