Issued on: 15/02/2023 – 02:44Modified: 15/02/2023 – 02:42 Washington (AFP) – The move was bold and intended to be decisive. The United States, joined by most of its allies, recognized Venezuela’s opposition leader as interim president and launched an all-out push to remove leftist Nicolas Maduro. Four years later, Maduro remains in power and, symbolizing the policy’s failure, the self-styled government backed by Washington has dissolved itself. The United States says it still views Maduro as illegitimate but even his ardent opponents acknowledge that the tide has turned. In interviews with AFP, current and former policymakers saw miscalculations under former president Donald Trump…

The disputed territory is known as the Guayana Esequiba region in Venezuela and it encompasses a land area that is more than half of Guyana’s territory. The region is resource rich with deposits…

It’s a real blow for the European Ryder Cup team led by captain Luke Donald! Unless there is a favorable decision in the dispute between the DP World Tour and the players who joined LIV Golf – a verdict that everyone in professional golf is eagerly awaiting and which should decide the future of the “rebels” within the European tour – we shouldn’t see Thomas Pieters again anywhere else than on the LIV Golf. According to The Telegraph , the Belgian, aged 31, would have…
